Nematos: Paecilomyces Biological Nematicide

Paecilomyces (most notably known in agricultural science as Paecilomyces lilacinus, reclassified in modern taxonomy as Purpureocillium lilacinum) is a naturally occurring, beneficial soil-borne biocontrol fungus (entomopathogenic/nematophagous fungus). In crop protection and agriculture, it is primarily utilized as a highly effective bio-nematicide.

Nematos Features

• Nematos is a broad spectrum systemic biological nematicide containing microbial cultures of Paecilomyces. It provides effective and prolonged protection against a wide variety of nematodes.
• It is manufactured by a hi-tech fermentation process developed and mastered internationally, and is recommended for application on all kinds of agricultural crops.

• Soil Application – 1-2 litre per acre.

• Depending on the intensity of infestation, application is recommended every 7-10 days.
