Western IndiaIndochem Agrovet supplies bio fertilizers, organic manures, micronutrients and botanical crop protection to farmers across Maharashtra — matched to black cotton soil (regur) and to the crops actually grown here: cotton, sugarcane, soybean, onion, grapes, pomegranate.
Maharashtra grows cotton, sugarcane, soybean, onion, grapes, pomegranate across Vidarbha, Marathwada, Western Maharashtra, Khandesh, Konkan, mostly on black cotton soil (regur) and medium black soil and lateritic soil in Konkan. The cropping calendar runs through the kharif, rabi, summer seasons.
The recurring problem here is black cotton soils that crack in summer and hold water in monsoon, leaving micronutrient uptake — especially zinc and iron — unreliable. Adding more chemical fertiliser rarely fixes it, because the limitation is the soil's biology and structure rather than the headline N-P-K figure. That is what our inputs are formulated to address.
