Indoprom

Indoprom: PROM – Phosphate Rich Organic Manure

Crops It Is Best Suitable For: All Crops

PROM stands for Phosphate Rich Organic Manure. It is an organic-based phosphorus fertilizer used in agriculture to improve soil fertility and provide phosphorus to crops.

PROM is particularly interesting because it combines two important aspects of crop nutrition:

• Organic matter – helps improve soil health and soil properties.
• Phosphorus (P) – an essential plant nutrient required for root development, flowering, energy transfer and crop growth.

Benefits

• Fine particles of inorganic rock phosphate in Indoprom enhance its agronomic efficiency.
• The organic manure component in Indoprom prevents ions of other elements from converting phosphorus to an insoluble and unavailable form.
• Increases beneficial microbial diversity in the soil.
• Beneficial microorganisms in Indoprom produce essential growth hormones like gibberellins, auxins and vitamins that are vital for plant growth and development.
• Helps in the amendment of problematic soils like acid and saline soils.
• Indoprom also supplements other nutrients like copper, zinc, iron, calcium and magnesium.
• Indoprom provides better plant growth and improves yield both in quality and quantity.

Active Ingredients

Organic Carbon 10.00%, total Nitrogen (as N) 0.4% and total Phosphates (as P₂O₅) 8.00% by weight, with a C:N ratio of less than 20:1.

Mode of Action

Indoprom is a blend of organic manure, inorganic phosphate fertilizer and biofertilizer which supplies phosphorus to the plant.

In addition, phosphorus solubilizing bacteria produce organic acids that solubilize unavailable fixed phosphorus present in both acid and alkaline soils, and make it available to plants for a prolonged period — even to the following crop.

Dosage & Method of Application

Dosage: 25 kg per acre. After final land preparation, broadcast 25 kg of Indoprom over an acre before sowing or transplanting/planting.
